How pay works

$30

per standard completed booking — setup and breakdown included.

$15Morning setup: collect the guest's own gear from their unit or storage, carry it to the beach, set it up and send a photo.

$15Evening breakdown: pack the guest's gear up and return it to their unit or storage.

A standard booking is one day of chair-and-umbrella service. You earn the full $30 when you complete both the setup and the breakdown.
Setup and breakdown are separate jobs in the app. If you only do one of them, you earn $15 for that part.
Multi-day stays are paid per day: each day's setup and breakdown is its own job.
Pay is sent through Stripe to your bank account after each job is marked complete in the app.
The Job Board shows the exact payout for every job before you claim it. Other services, such as hurricane prep, have their own rates.

What you need

Be at least 16 (16- and 17-year-olds apply with a parent or guardian's permission)

A smartphone (iPhone or Android) for the Worker app

Reliable transportation to your service area

Comfortable lifting and carrying chairs, umbrellas and gear across sand

Available early mornings and/or evenings, weekdays or weekends

Friendly with guests and dependable about showing up on time

Beach Valet workers are independent contractors. Work depends on customer bookings and isn't guaranteed.

High school students welcome

Weekend and summer jobs are a great fit for students. If you're 16 or 17, here's what's different:

Parent or guardian: we'll ask for their contact details and talk with them before we approve you.
Proof of age: we'll need to see your driver's license, passport, birth certificate or school age certificate, and keep a copy on file.
Payouts: your parent or guardian completes the Stripe payout setup with you. Stripe requires this for anyone under 18.
School-night hours: before a school day, no work before 6:30 a.m. or after 11 p.m. and no more than 8 hours. During the school year, no more than 30 hours a week unless your parent signs the state waiver. No work during school hours. Weekends and summer are more flexible.
No driving on the job: you won't drive as part of the work. Getting yourself (or a ride) to and from your work area is fine.

What we collect: the information in this form, plus a one-way scrambled code made from your internet connection to stop spam. If you're 16 or 17, we also collect your date of birth, school status and your parent or guardian's name, phone and email. We do not ask for your Social Security number, bank details or driver's license number on this form.
Why: to review your application, contact you about it, schedule an interview and, if you're approved, set up your private Worker app invitation. For applicants under 18, we also use it to confirm your age and contact your parent or guardian.
Who sees it: only Beach Valet's authorized admin team. It is stored in our secured database with access restricted to admins and encrypted in transit and at rest. We use an email provider to send you messages about your application. We never sell applicant information or use it for advertising, and this page has no ad trackers.
How long we keep it: if you don't join the team, we delete your application 12 months after its last update. You can ask us to see, correct or delete it any time at hello@beachvaletservices.com.
